What Is the Raffle?
The raffle is one of the ways Big Town Chef rewards it's townspeople (that's you!) by giving them the chance to win exclusive NFT prizes each draw!
Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets are earned by staking BURP (whilst your stake is locked) or purchased via secondary markets such as OpenSea. How many raffle tickets you earn depends on how much you stake, how long you lock your stake for, and whether or not you staked an NFT. The higher the amount you stake, the greater your reward multiplier will be and so the more raffle tickets you'll earn. When you create your stake, you'll see how frequently you'll earn raffle tickets in the Stake Summary. If you've already created your stake, you'll find the information in My Stakes.
Entering the raffle
To enter the raffle for the first time you will need to approve the raffle smart contract:
(Transaction) - Claim the raffle tickets from your stake
(Transaction) - Approve the raffle smart contract
Select how many tickets you want to use in the raffle
(Transaction) - Enter the raffle
You will only need to approve the raffle smart contract the first time you play.
Prizes
The raffle prizes are NFTs which (when staked) unlock a higher APR thanks to their reward multiplier. As the prizes are NFTs, they can also be bought and sold on third-party markets such as OpenSea.
